crockpot - Parmesan BeefSteak Roll
2 pounds flank or round steak, pounded thin
2 ribs thinly sliced celery
1 diced onion
4 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 Tablespoon light Olive oil
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes

for thickening:
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cold water
Place celery, onions, cheese, salt, pepper and parsley in a line down the center of steak.
Beginning with the short side, roll as tightly as possible into one large roll. Fasten with
string. Brown the meat in oil in a frying pan. Then place in crockpot/slow cooker. Add
the bouillon. Cover and cook on Low for 7 to 10 hours or on High for 3 to 4 hours.
Remove steak roll to platter. Turn crockpot to high.
Mix the flour and water together until lumps are gone. Stir in flour mixture and thicken.
Pour gravy over steak roll.
