    Recipe Introduction

    her comments:
After having some wonderful smoked chicken, I looked for some at the
grocery store, and saw the price! After I regained consciousness, I was
determined to find a way to make it at home without having to beg my
husband to build me a smokehouse. I scrounged up my thinking cap
and cleaned it off, and this is what I came up with -- my family just loves
it. The bird comes out nice and smokey, and MOIST! Cook it to death,
or just until done, however you like. The juices that cook out of the
chicken as it cooks will make a gravy like you've never had before. On
the off-chance that you've got any leftover meat, chop it up with celery,
mayo, broken walnuts and dried cranberries for the best chicken salad
    in the universe.

    amazing! Thanks for sharing.
-WOW! Thanks for this recipe! I put it in the crockpot last night and
took it out this morning. It fell completely off the bones! Brought some
to work for lunch and YUMMY!!! Didn't even wait until lunch time! Can't
wait to have more for dinner!
-This was SOOO easy and so incredibly good! The chicken came out very
moist and tender and with such wonderful flavor! Thanks for sharing this
    - I'll be making it again, soon!
