crockpot - Taco Stew
2 lbs ground meat
4, 15 ounce cans stewed tomatoes (liquified in blender, if desired)
3, 15 ounce cans pinto beans (drained and rinsed)
3, 14 ounce cans corn or hominy(your choice)
2 packets taco seasoning
2 packets dry ranch dressing mix
Brown meat and drain grease, add taco seasoning packets (follow
directions on package).After meat is ready, add all ingredients to
crockpot/slow cooker. Simmer on low for 4 hours or longer.
The longer it simmers the better it is.
Notes:
This is a great recipe in the winter, but is good year round.
Cornbread or warm tortillas also go very good with this.
If you like a little spice substitute 2 cans of stewed tomatoes
with rotel.Recipe
