This Oriental spiced beef is ideally served over hot cooked rice.
crockpot - Teriyaki Beef
2 1/2 pounds boneless chuck steak; cut
...into 1/8 inch slices
1/4 cup soy sauce
1, 20 ounce can pineapple chunks; reserve
...1/4 cup juice
1 tsp. finely grated ginger
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. oil
2 cloves crushed garlic
3 Tablespoons cornstarch
3 Tablespoons water
Place steak in crockpot/slow cooker.
Separately, combine soy sauce, pineapple juice,
ginger, sugar, oil, and garlic. Pour over meat.
Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 7 hours.
Turn to High. Stir in pineapple. Combine
cornstarch with water; add to crockpot. Stir
until slightly thickened.
