entire thing was melt in your mouth delicious cooked this way...

crockpot - Whole Turkey w/Stuffing

6 pound turkey
salt
pepper
2 cups packaged stuffing mix
1 tablespoon butter -- melted

You will need a large crockpot/slow cooker.
If frozen, defrost turkey.
Season inside and out with salt and pepper.
Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions.
Lightly pack cavities with stuffing.
Close cavities and fasten with skewers and string.
Place on trivet in removable liner.
Brush with melted butter.
Place in liner.
Serves 10.
