1 pound toasted almonds
1 pound toasted Brazil nuts
1 pound toasted cashew nuts
1/2 pound toasted pine nuts
1/2 pound mixed raisins
1/4 cup honey, fruit juice or sweet vermouth
!/4 cup shredded coconut
1/4 cup salted sunflower seeds
1/4 cup chopped dried fruit, (apples, pears, apricots, etc)
salt and/or Worcestershire sauce to taste, optional
Recipe
Mix nuts together and set aside.
In a saucepan, mix raisins and fruit juice together and bring to a boil.
Immediately reduce heat and simmer until liquid has evaporated, about
20 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.
Combine mixture with remaining ingredients and mix well.
If desired, add salt and/or Worcestershire sauce to taste.
