    1 cup sugar
    1 ccup brown sugar
    1/4 ccup salt
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    2 teaspoons liquid smoke
    1 quart hot water
    1 quart cold water
    enough salmon so liquid covers,
    sliced thin

    Recipe



    Mix sugars, salt, garlic, liquid smoke and hot water
    together well.
    Then add the cold water.
    Place salmon in the mixture.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Remove salmon.
    Rinse off and place in dehydrator for 10 - 14 hours,
    depending on how thin sthe lices are and how hot it is
    at the time of year you are making.
    It should be leathery, but not brittle.
