Smoked Salmon Jerky
1 cup granulated white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons liquid smoke
1 quart hot water
1 quart cold water
Mix first 6 ingedients well.... then add cold water.
Place thin sliced fish in mixture.
Seal and refrigerate overnight.
Remove fish. Rinse and place in dehydrator, for
10 to 14 hours...depending on how thin the slices are,
how hot it is (time of year).
Should be leathery, but not brittle.... Yummy!!!
