List of Ingredients
2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar substitute
1 level teaspoon baking powder
1/2 level teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup raisins, optional
2 egg whites
1 1/4 cups unsweetened applesauce
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9x5 inch bread loaf pan.
Use a large bowl to stir together the flour, sugar, baking
powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Stir in the raisins.
Use another bowl and beat the egg whites and the applesauce until combined. Pour this
into the dry ingredients and stir until JUST combined.
Scoop into the loaf pan and bake for 70 - 80 minutes or until a tester comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan on a rack for 10 minutes. Then remove from the pan and let cool
completely on rack.
Makes 1 loaf of 16 servings.
