List of Ingredients
8 strips diced bacon
1 finely chopped small onion
1 finely chopped clove garlic
2 14 1/2oz. cans red kidney beans, mashed
2 drops hot pepper sauce, optional
salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
Fry the bacon in a pan until almost crispy.
Remove bacon from pan and set aside in a bowl.
Stir the onion and garlic in the bacon drippings and saute over a medium heat until the onion is translucent.
Gradually add the kidney beans and stir.
Return the bacon to the pan, and add the hot sauce and mix well.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cook and stir until thickened.
Serve in a bowl as a side dish or shape into a roll and serve on a plate.
