Vegetable - Crunchy Herbed Broccoli

butter flavor cooking spray
2 - 4 tablespoos chopped pecans, optional
1/4 cup unseasoned breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/4 teaspoon dried chervil leaves
2 teaspoons dried parsley
1 1/2 pounds chopped cooked broccoli
salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
Coat a small frying pan with the cooking spray.
Use a medium heat until hot.
Add the nuts and spray with more cooking spray.
Cook for 2 - 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until toasted.
Add the breadcrumbs, marjoram, and chervil.
Cook for 3 - 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the crumbs are toasted.
Remove from the heat and stir in parsley.
Season the broccoli with salt and pepper and place in a serving bowl.
Spoon the crumb mixture over the broccoli.
Makes 6 servings.
