SpreadTopping - Apple Cheese Icing
2 sweet dessert apples, (golden delicious will stay
...white when cooked)
1 teaspoon powdered gelatin dissolved
4 tablespoons hot water, for gelatin
1/3 cup skim milk cheese or cottage cheese
coloring, optional
Core and slice apples. Cook apples to a soft pulp in a little
water. Allow to cool. Place in a blender. Dissolve gelatin
with water, then add to blender. Add cheese and coloring.
Blend to a smooth puree. Leave to set, then spread on cake.
May pipe on too, if desired.
If covered, keeps well in refrigerator or may be frozen.Recipe
