Amish - Custard Pie
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
3 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1, 9 inch unbaked pie shell/crust
Combine sugar, flour, salt and eggs and mix until smooth.
Set aside.
Heat milk to boiling point.
Add 1 cup hot milk to egg mixture.
Then pour that into the remaining hot milk.
Pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle nutmeg over top.
Bake at 350 for 45 - 60 minutes.
Easy to make and really good.
