Mexican - Flavor Rice

Recipe Introduction
Lemmie’s comments: I make my own chicken broth with any parts of a
chicken I don't otherwise use, so often I use 3 1/2 - 4 cups of chicken
broth in this recipe instead of chicken broth and water. This is a great
recipe. DO NOT uncover the pot. I sometimes use brown rice, but it must
be cooked longer like about 45 minutes.
List of Ingredients
Mexican - Flavor Rice
2 cups white rice
1 1/2-2cups water
2 cups chicken broth (I usually use 4 cups of chicken Stock)
¼ cup minced onion
4 cloves minced garlic (fresh)
1 - 8 oz can tomato sauce
2-3 Tablespoons olive oil
Salt to taste
Brown rice in oil until rice is golden brown. Then add garlic, onion,
tomato sauce, chicken broth and water and bring to a boil, turn
temperature to low, cover and simmer for 25 minutes. Recipe
