    Pennsylvania Dutch - Sour Cream Cabbage

    List of Ingredients

    1 medium head shredded cabbage

    1/2 c. oil for frying

    1 tsp. salt

    1/2 tsp. ground black pepper

    2 c. white sugar

    2 tbsp. flour

    2 c. sour cream, (1 pint)

    2 c. distilled white vinegar

    Recipe

    Heat the oil in a medium frying pan over a medium heat.

    Add the cabbage, salt and pepper and cook until tender, approximately 15 - 20 minutes.

    Mix the sugar and flour together in a medium bowl.

    Then add the sour cream to the sugar/flour mixture and mix well.

    Stir the vinegar into the cream mixture and mix well.

    Add the vinegar mixture to the cabbage and simmer together until desired consistency is reached.

    Makes 8 - 12 servings.
