Country Brunch
Trim crust from 16 slices white bread, cut in half
Prepare....1 lb. cooked ham, cubed
1 lb. cheddar cheese, shredded
1 lb. mozzarella cheese, shredded
Cover bottom of a greased 9 x 13 x 2 in. bakingdish with 1/2 of bread, 1/2
of ham, and 1/2 half of each of the cheeses. Repeat layers
Combine....6 eggs
3 c. milk
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon onion salt-or to taste
Pour over layers. Refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 min.
before baking.
Combine 3 c. unchrushed corn flakes and 1/2 c. melted butter. Sprinkle over
casserole. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Cover loosely with foil to
prevent top from over-browning. Let stand 10-15 min. before cutting into
squares.
