Meat Loaf
2 pounds ground beef (80/20 is good-80% is the meat and 20% the fat)
1 egg
1/2 cup catsup
1 pkg onion soup mix (any brand is pretty good)
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
salt and pepper (to taste)
Mix everything except the ground beaf in a good sized bowl.
Then, put the uncooked hamburger in and mix.
Shape the mixture up in a ball and then mash it down.
It will look somewhat like a turtle shape at this point.
Coat electric frying pan/skillet with cooking spray, or wipe
it down with a little cooking oil and heat to 300 degrees F.
Place meat ball in the pan and cover.
Cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Makes 8 servings.
