food type(10spaces) -- temperature -- directions
hamburgers---------- 300 degrees F -- 1/2 pound - 3 to 9 minutes
per side for medium
steak---------------- 300 degrees F -- 1 inch thick, boneless -
9 to 12 minutes per side
chicken-------------- 300 degrees F -- boneless breasts
6 to 7 minutes per side
French toast-------- 325 degrees F -- 3 to 5 minutes per side
pancakes------------ 300 degrees F -- 1 to 3 minutes per side
eggs:
:::::fried------------ 300 degrees F --
Melt 1 to 2 teaspoons butter or margarine in skillet first.
2 to 3 minutes 1st side
1 to 2 minutes 2nd side
:::::poached----------- 250 degress F or 300 degrees F --
Pour 2 cups water and 1 teaspoon cider vinegar in skillet.
Heat to boiling. Break each egg into a bowl; slip into water.
Cover and cook 2 to 3 minutes
:::::scrambled------- 300 degrees F --
Melt 1 to 2 tablespoons butter or margarine in skillet.
Add eggs, cook, stir gently, until set and cooked to your liking.
3 to 4 minutes
bacon---------------- 300 degrees F -- 5 minutes 1st side
1 to 3 minutes 2nd side
sausage:
links--------------- 300 degrees F -- 8 to 10 minutes, turning
from time to time
patties------------ 300 degrees F -- 6 minutes, 1st side
5 to 6 minutes 2nd side
turning if needed
