    Alabama Shrimp Bake

    List of Ingredients

    1 c. butter, melted
    3/4 c. lemon juice
    3/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tbsp. salt
    1 tbsp. coarsely black ground pepper
    1 tsp. dried rosemary
    1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
    1 tbsp. hot sauce
    3 minced garlic cloves
    2 1/2 lb. peeled + deveined large or jumbo shrimp
    2 lemons, thinly sliced
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    fresh rosemary sprigs, optional

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 400. Need an ungreased 13x9x2" baking dish.
    Combine butter, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, rosemary, red pepper, hot sauce and garlic in a small bowl and set aside.
    Rinse shrimp with cold water; drain well.
    Layer shrimp, lemon slices, and onion slices in baking dish.
    Pour butter/seasonings mixture over shrimp.
    Bake uncovered, for 20 to 25 minutes or until shrimp turn pink, basting occasionally with pan juices.
    Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs, if desired.
    Makes 6 servings.
