    Salmon Steaks, baked

    Salmon Steaks, baked

    4 steaks
    2 tbsp. melted butter
    2 tbsp. flour,
    2 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste.
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 tbsp. chives or onion greens
    1/4 c. white wine

    Place salmon (other fish may be used, if desired) in a buttered baking dish.
    Mix the butterand flour together.
    Stir into the milk, gradually, until thickened.
    Sprinkle in some salt and pepper.
    Stir in the lemon juice, chives or onion greens and white wine.
    Pour the sauce over the steaks. Dot with butter and sprinkle with paprika.
    Bake at 400 for 25 - 30 minutes.
