    Salmon Au Gratin

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. can salmon, picked over and broken into pieces
    2 tbsp. butter
    2 tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttered, crushed cornflakes
    prepackaged Velveeta slices

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 350. Coat a baking dish with non stick cooking spray.
    In a saucepan, melt the butter, stir in the flour to make a paste. Slowly add the milk until mixed well.
    Add the salt and set this sauce aside.
    Layer 1/2 of the salmon in the baking dish.
    Pour 1/2 of the sauce over the salmon.
    Cover with a sparse layer of the cheese slices.
    Add another layer of the other 1/2 of the salmon.
    Pour the other 1/2 of the sauce over the salmon.
    Sprinkle the buttered cornflakes over the top.
    Bake until the sauce bubbles up and the cornflakes are golden.
    Arrange a layer of the cheese over the top and put back in the oven until it has melted.
