Salmon Bake, odorless
2 pounds Salmon Steaks or Filets
1/2 c. sour cream
Any combo of:
Dried Dill
Lemon Pepper
Herbs de Provence
Thyme
White Pepper
Stir herbs into sour cream; (you're looking for enough so that it looks
not quite as full of herbs as a dill dip)"frost salmon" with sour cream
mixture
Bake at 375 for ~ 30 minutes until fish flakes
While baking:
open a bottle of Chardonnay
Pour a couple of glasses to enjoy
put the rest in a medium skillet
add finely diced shallot and red pepper
Slow boil until reduced by 1/2 to 2/3s
In a bowl mix together
3/4 c. half and half
scant 1/4 c. of flour
Dump into the chardonnay pan
stir with whisk until it starts to thicken add a good big spoonful (~ 2
T) Dijon mustard
Plate salmon over a bed of rice (white, wild or combo works fine) top
with sauce, give it a crank or two from the pepper mill. Enjoy!
