    Salmon Cakes with Creamy Gravy

    List of Ingredients

    1 16oz. can salmon, cleaned
    seasonings: onion powder, parsley, lemon juice, breadcrumbs
    water
    butter
    flour
    milk
    salt and pepper
    1 c. cooked peas
    fresh mashed potatoes

    Recipe

    Mix the salmon with the onion powder, a couple of tbsp. lemon juice, a sprinkling of breadcrumbs and just enough water to hold together.
    Form into patties.
    Melt a little butter in a frying pan and cook until done.
    Make a white gravy using some melted butter, stirring flour into a paste and adding milk to thickness you want the gravy to be.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Add the peas to the gravy mixture to warm.
    Place a salmon cake on bed of mashed potatoes.
    Top with the gravy.
