2 cups freshly chopped cranberries
3 cups miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1 cup diced apple, (1 medium)
1/2 cup diced or chopped walnuts, optional
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
Combine cranberries, marshmallows and sugar in a bowl.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
The next day, add apples, nuts and salt.
Then fold in whipped topping.
Refrigerate to set, then serve.
