This is not the sort of jelly you spread on your toast, but a molded cider gelatin, which the English call "Jellies."
List of Ingredients
2 tablespoons gelatin
1/2 cup hot water
2 cup boiling hot cider
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice
Recipe
Mix the gelatin with just enough cold water to dissolve the gelatin and stir for 5 minutes.
Add the hot water, cider, sugar and lemon juice in the order given.
Pour into a wet mold and chill.
Unmold and serve with whipped cream.
Sprinkle with nutmeg, if desired.
