1, 16 ounce can pineapple chunks
3 1/2 cups boiling water
2, 6 ounce packages strawberry gelatin
2 cups miniature marshmallows
3 large sliced bananas
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1 beaten egg
2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
chopped nuts of choice
Drain pineapple, saving the syrup. Set both aside.
Dissolve gelatin in water and let cool down.
Stir in the pineapple, marshmallows and bananas.
Pour into a buttered 9x13x2 inch baking dish.
Chill until firm.
Combine flour, sugar, and egg.
Stir in syrup saved from pineapples.
Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Let cool.
Fold in whipped topping and spread over gelatin.
Sprinkle with nuts.
