Twoberry Fruit Gelatin Pie
1 quart fresh strawberries, cleaned and stems removed,
...set 8 aside for garnish
1 butter flavored crumb pie crust
1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries, (no sugar in it)
2 tablespoons sugar
1, 3 ounce package triple berry flavor gelatin,
...may use raspberry if desired
1 cup boiling water
frozen whipped topping, optional
Place whole strawberries, top side down, in the crust.
Puree raspberries and sugar in blender/food processor.
Press through a sieve to remove seeds. Set puree aside.
Prepare gelatin according to package directions using
Just the 1 cup water. Chill until slightly thickened,
10 - 15 minutes or according to your refrigerator.
Stir raspberry puree into gelatin.
Pour over top of strawberries.
Chill until set/firm.
Garnish with a dollop of whipped topping and 1 fresh berry. Recipe
