12 sweet corn cobs, corn removed
4 c. water
4 c. sugar
1 box fruit pectinRecipe
Bring water with cobs to a boil and boil for 10 minutes.
Measure 3 c. and strain thru wet cheesecloth.
Pour into a large saucepan with pectin and bring to a rolling boil.
Add sugar. Bring back to a boil and boil for 3 min. Skim.
Add food coloring if you want.
Cold process for 5 min in a water bath or pour into hot jars and seal.
Tastes like honey and apples.
Makes 6 half pints.
