soup - Tortilla Soup Mix #1

1, .87 ounce packet dry brown or beef gravy mix
2 Tablespoon mild red chili powder
2 teapsoons ground oregano
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teasxpoon dried minced onion
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
12 Tortilla chips, coarsely crushed
1 to 1 1/4 cups uncooked small twisty macaroni/ pasta

Layer ingredients in a jar, closing lid tightly.

Attach to Jar:
Tortilla Soup

Brown 1/2 pound ground beef
In a crockpot combine the following:
Contents of jar
7 cups water
1, 15 ounce can corn with green and red peppers
1, 15 ounce can chopped tomatoes
Simmer a couple hours or until pasta is full cooked.
