Barbequed Chicken on a Stick, ( 48 )
12 tablespoons oil
12 medium onions chopped
12 cups chili sauce
3 cups ketchip
24 tablespoons vinegar
24 tablespoons vinegar
12 teaspoon Paprika
18 pounds chicken or turkey breast,
...cut about 6 inches long by 1 inch wide
salt and pepper to taste
In large skillet over medium high heat, heat oil.
Add onion and saute untill soft and golden.
Stir in chile sauce, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar and paprika.
Reduce Heat
Simmer for 2 minutes, pour into large baking dish.
Thread turkey/chicken strips onto skewers.
Broil or bbq turkey/chicken 1 to 2 minutes on each side, until no longer pink.
Place in bbq sauce and coat completely.
BAKE at 350*F (180*C) for 30 minutes.
NOTE
when threading onto skewers be sure to thread straight not crinked for even cooking.
Serves 48.
