Country Sausage w/Mini Pierogies, ( 24 )
4 pounds ground sausage or ground beef
4 cups diced onion
4 packets Country gravy mix, prepare ahead of time
128 Giorgio Lightly Breaded Potato & Cheddar
Cheese Mini Pierogies
In a skillet, brown ground meat and onions, drain off the excess fat.
Add the prepared country gravy, simmer for 15-20 minutes.
While gravy is simmering, prepare the breaded pierogies by; Oven Baking,
bake in a 400° oven for 12 minutes until golden brown. Deep Fry, deep fry at
350° for 3-1/2 to 4 minutes. Microwave, place 10 pierogies on a microwave
safe plate. Microwave on high for 6 minutes, turning them over and rotating
half way through.
Serve country gravy over breaded mini pierogies.
Can be held on steam table for up to 45 minutes.
Yield: 24 servings.
