LowFat - Stuffed Pepper Soup
2 pounds extra lean ground beef -- or ground turkey
3 cups green peppers -- cut in 1" pieces
28 ounces tomato sauce
15 ounces diced tomatoes
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 cups cooked rice
Brown ground meat--drain. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring
to boil--lower heat and simmer 15 minutes or until peppers are
tender, stirring occasionally.
Makes 10 servings.
NOTE: Use extra lean ground beef, 92%fat, 8%lean ground beef, or
ground turkey, nutritional information follows
