    LowFat - Parmesan Brussels Sprouts

    Parmesan Brussels Sprouts

    1 lb. fresh or 2 10oz. pkgs. frozen Brussels sprouts
    1 small clove chopped garlic
    2 tbsp. I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Light
    1 tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
    3 tbsp. freshly grated low fat Parmesan cheese

    Remove any wilted outer leaves from the sprouts and rinse under cold water to remove any dirt.
    Steam the sprouts in a saucepan 10 - 15 minutes, until just tender.
    Drain thoroughly and then return to the saucepan.
    In a small frying pan, saute the garlic in the butter light until limp.
    Add the lemon juice, salt and pepper and stir.
    Pour over the sprouts and shake to coat.
    Spoon into a serving dish and top with the grated Parmesan cheese.
    Makes 1 1/2 cups or 6 servings.
