Creamy Tomato Pasta
1 pound ground beef
...or 1/2 sausage and 1/2 ground beef
1, 10 3/4 ounce can tomato soup
1, 10 3/4 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
1, 15 ounce can of diced stewed tomatoes
2 cups uncooked pasta of your choice
chopped onion and/or green pepper, optional
fresh or canned mushrooms, optional
Mozzarella or favorite cheese, optional
Cook pasta al dente to package directions. Drian.
In a large skillet, partially brown the ground meat(s).
Add onions, pepper and mushrooms and finish browning.
Drain the fat from skillet. Return all to the skillet.
Stir in the soups and tomatoes and heat through.
Add the pasta and stir until combined.
Pour into a 2 quart/9x13x2 baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30-40 minutes, until hot
and bubbly around the edges.
Top with some cheese during the last 10 minutes if
desired. Let cool for 5 minutes or so before serving.
