    don't remember, it was quite a while ago I found this
    I don't mind making this one and it tastes just like the layered lasagna!!

    Lasagna Casserole #1, easy* t+t

    1 pound ground beef or pork
    1 teaspooon minced onion
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 + 1/4 teaspoons ground black pepper, divided
    1 pound (16 ounces) bowtie pasta, cooked al dente and drained
    3 cups + 1 cup (1 pound) shredded Mozzarella cheese, divided
    1, 24 ounce container Ricotta cheese
    2 beaten eggs
    1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    2 Tablespoons dried parsley flakes
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1, 26 ounce can Hunts Roasted Garlic + Onion spaghetti sauce -
    (I like extra sauce with mine and I usually make my own
    ...see below for my Spaghetti Sauce, quick**, t+t)

    Cook meat and onion until meat is no longer pink; drain.
    Sprinkle with salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper; set aside.
    In a large bowl, combine pasta, 3 c. of the Mozzarella
    cheese, Ricotta cheese, eggs, Parmesan cheese, parsley,
    garlic powder and 1/4 tsp. remaining pepper, stir gently.
    Pour into greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish.
    Top with the beef mixture and spaghetti sauce.
    Cover and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
    Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella. Bake, uncovered, 15
    minutes longer or until cheese is melted and just starting
    to brown.
    Makes 8 servings.
    Serve with salad, bread and extra sauce, if desired.

    Spaghetti Sauce, quick**, t+t

    1, 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes
    1 cup water
    1 packet DRY Good Seasons Italian dressing mix
    ...(or use seasoning mixture from below*)
    1 onion, whole but cut a few gashes in side
    1/8 cup sugar

    Mix all together in a pot and simmer to desired
    consistency.
    Makes enough sauce for 1 pound of pasta.

    Dry Italian Seasoning Mix:
    1 teaspoon minced baked carrot
    1 teaspoon minced baked red bell pepper
    3/4 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
    1/8 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/8 teaspoon onion powder
    2 teaspoon granulated white sugar
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
    2 teaspoons dry pectin
    1 pinch ground dried oregano
