    I made changes to this after making it the first time


    Stuffed Shells #6*, w/meats+sauce

    1 1/2 pounds ground meat of choice,
    ...(3/4 pound sausage + 3/4 pound ground beef,
    ... mix together thoroughly)
    2 freshly minced garlic cloves
    1 Tablespoon onion powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
    3 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce, divided
    1 Tablespoon Olive oil
    1 1/2 cups shredded Mozzarella chesse
    1 to 1 1/2 cups Ricotta cheese
    24 jumbo shells, or manicoti, cooked al dente,
    ...rinsed and drained
    grated Parmesan cheese

    This will fit well in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish.
    Mix meats with garlic, onion powder, salt and pepper.
    Stir in 1 cup of the spagehetti sauce; cool and set aside.
    Set aside 1/2 cup of the ground beef mixture.
    Combine remaining beef mixture with Mozzarella and
    the Ricotta cheese in a large bowl.
    Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
    Stuff shells with meat/cheese mixture.
    Arrange in greased baking dish, open side up.
    Combine remaining spaghetti sauce with oil and reserved
    beef mixture in small bowl, blend well.
    Pour over shells.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using.
    Cover with foil.
    Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, or until hot.
