    Apple Crescent Dumplings, easy

    2, 8 count cans refrigerated crescent rolls,
    ...peeled, cored + each sliced into 8 pieces
    2 tart apples
    1 cup butter, (2 sticks)
    1 1/2 cups white granulated sugar
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/4 cup flour
    1, 12 ounce container lemon/lime soda pop

    Open and separate crescent rolls.
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    You will need a 9x13x2 inch baking dish.
    Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
    Add sugar and cinnamon and stir until dissolved.
    Add flour and blend well.
    Wrap each apple slice in a crescent roll, starting
    at the wide end.
    Place in baking dish seam side down.
    Pour sugar mixture over rolls.
    Carefully pour soda pop over top all.
    Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
