for the filling:
6 apples, peeled and sliced
6 tablespoons white granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons butter
for the crumble topping:
4 teaspoons butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
Recipe
for the filling:
Place apples into a greased baking dish.
Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over apples.
Dot with the butter.
for the crumble topping:
Blend the butter into the brown sugar.
Add the flour and oats to the sugar mixture.
Spoon mixture over top of the filling mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees F., covered, for 15 minutes.
Uncover and bake for 35 minutes, until the crumble crust
is golden and the apples are tender.
