2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
Topping:
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup flaked coconut
1/4 cup finely chopped black walnuts or English walnuts
Mix all ingredients except Topping; beat vigorously
1 minute. Spread batter in greased baking pan, 13x9x2
inches.
Topping:
Mix sugar, flour, butter and cinnamon. Stir in coconut
and walnuts. Sprinkle over batter.
Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean,
35 to 40 minutes. Serve warm.
