    Blueberry Buckle

    1/2 cup shortening,
    1/2 cup sugar,
    1 egg,
    2 cups flour,
    2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda,
    1 1/4 teaspoons salt,
    1/2 cup milk,
    2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen),
    1/2 cup sugar,
    1/2 cup flour,
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon,
    1/4 cup butter

    Cream shortening and sugar together. Add egg and beat well. Sift 2 cups flour,
    baking powder, and salt together. Add alternately with milk to creamed mixture.
    Spread in 9-inch square cake pan. Sprinkle blueberries over batter. Mix sugar,
    flour, cinnamon and butter together until crumbly; sprinkle over blueberries.
    Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.
