biscuitmix - Cinnamon Rolls
1 beaten egg
3 cups biscuit baking mix
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons soft butter or margarine
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
for glaze topping:
1/4 cup powdered confectioners sugar
2 tablespoons warm water
Preheat oven to 400. Use ungreased baking sheet.
Mix the egg, biscuit mix and milk together until it forms a soft dough.
Roll out onto a floured surface.
Knead lightly, just until smooth.
Roll into a 10x8 inch rectangle.
Spread with butter.
Mix the sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over top of butter.
Tightly roll up, beginning with the wide end.
Seal the ends.
Place sealed side down onto baking sheet.
Make slits into the top of roll at 1 inch intervals.
Bake for 20 minutes.
for glaze topping:
Mix the sugar and water together.
Drizzle over the top of the roll while still warm.
Cut into 10 - 12 slices.
