cakemix - Apple Crisp, easy

6 sliced apples, (or may substitute 2 21oz. cans apple pie filling)
1 c. apple juice or water
1 18.25oz. pkg. white cake mix
1 c. packed light brown sugar
...(I don't think it needs any sugar added)
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. melted butter

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 9x13x2" baking dish.
Arrange the apple slices in an even layer in the bottom of the baking dish.
Pour the apple juice over the apples.
Use a medium bowl to mix together the cake mix, sugar, and cinnamon.
Stir in the butter until ingredients are thoroughly blended; mixture will be crumbly.
Sprinkle over the apples and juice.
Bake for 50 - 55 minutes.
Makes 12 servings.
Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
