Pecan Pie #1
1, 9 inch pie crust
1 cup pecan halves
3 large eggs, slightly beaten
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 cup light corn syrup (Karo)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup white granulated sugar
1 tablespoon flour
Place pecans in bottom of pie shell. Beat eggs. Add butter,
syrup, and vanilla. Stir well until blended. Combine sugar
and flour and blend with egg mixture. Pour over nuts in
crust. Let stand until nuts rise to the surface. Bake at 350
degrees F. for 45 minutes. Nuts will glaze during baking.
Makes 1 pie.
