Pumpkin Dump Pie

I made this for Thanksgiving this year, (2006) and
it was delicious...Especially great for those that like
pumpkin pie but do not like to eat pie crust.
Pumpkin Dump Pie
1, 28 ounce can solid pack pumpkin
1, 12 ounce can evaporated milk
2 cups granulated white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1, 2 layer yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped pecans, optional
3/4 cups melted butter, (1 1/2 sticks)
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix together pumpkin, milk, sugar, eggs, cinnamon,
ginger and cloves. Pour into an ungreased 9x13x2
inch glass baking dish.
Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the top, then
do the same with pecans, if using.
Drizzle with butter and bake for 1 hour. Let cool,
then refrigerate before serving.
