Pumpkin Ice Cream Pie

List of Ingredients
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. solid pack pumpkin
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
dash of ground nutmeg
dash of ground cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
1 quart slightly softened vanilla ice cream
1 9" shortbread crust, chilled
whipped topping
1/2 c. chopped pecans, optional Recipe
Combine the sugar, pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg,
cloves and salt.
Place the ice cream in a bowl.
Add the pumpkin mixture and stir quickly, until just
blended.
Immediately pour into the crust and freeze until firm.
