    1 15oz. can solid pack pumpkin
    1 14oz. can sweetened condensed milk
    2 egg yolks
    1 tsp. + 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 egg whites
    1 9inch unbaked pie crust
    2 tbsp. flour
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    2 tbsp. cold butter
    1 c. chopped walnuts, optional

    Recipe



    Preheat the oven to 425.
    Use a large bowl to mix together pumpkin, milk, and egg yolks.
    Stir in 1 tsp. cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt.
    Whip egg whites until soft peaks form.
    Gently fold into pumpkin mixture.
    Pour filling into pie crust.
    Bake for 15 minutes.
    Combine the flour, brown sugar, and 1 tsp. cinnamon.
    Blend in the cold butter until the mixture is crumbly.
    Mix in the nuts, if using.
    Sprinkle the topping over the pie.
    Reduce the heat to 350.
    Bake an additional 40 minutes, or until knife inserted comes out clean.
