Soda Pop Strawberry Pie

1 cup lemonlime soda pop, (7 Up soda)
4 tablespoons cornstarch
1 baked pie shell
1/2, 3 ounce package strawberry gelatin
2 cups sliced strawberries
1, 8 ounce container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Make glaze, using soda pop, sugar and cornstarch.
Cook until thick. Remove from heat.
Add gelatin and mix together.
Pour over strawberries in large pie crust.
Top with frozen whipped topping.
Refrigerate overnight or for several hours before serving.
Yield: 1 servings
