Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie #2

List of Ingredients

4 c. fresh mashed strawberries
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sour cream
1 shortbread pie crust
3 egg whites
1/2 c. marshmallow cream


Recipe

Mix strawberries with sugar and lemon juice. Set aside.
Stir cream cheese and sour cream together.
Combine strawberry mixture with cream cheese mixture.
Spoon into crust.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Add the marshmallow to the egg whites and beat until smooth.
Spread over strawberry mixture. Make little peaks.
Broil for just a couple of minutes until peaks have a little browning.
Place pie in refrigerator until ready to serve.
Makes 6 - 8 servings.
