Strawberry Pie #4

1 baked 9 inch pie crust
1 1/2 pints washed strawberries, stemmed + cut 1/2
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice
3 full heaping tablespoons cornstarch
1 c. water with 5-6 drops red coloring
dash of salt
3 heaping tablespoons strawberry gelatin mix

In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch,
colored water, salt and gelatin mix. Cook together on
low heat until thick.

Remove glaze mixture from heat and cool well.

Add strawberries, pour into pie shell.
Chill, then serve with whipped cream.
