I made this for Thanksgiving/2004, it was delicious.
List of Ingredients
cakemix - Creamy Apple Squares
1, 2 layer white cake mix
1, 3 ounce package vanilla pudding
1/2 cup softened butter, (1 stick)
9 large peeled + thinly sliced tart apples
2 cups sour cream
2 eggs
1/4 cup granulated white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Need a 9x13x2
inch baking pan.
Stir together cake mix and pudding. Add
butter and combine until crumbly. Remove
1 cup for topping. Press remaining crumbs
into bottom of baking pan.
Place apple slices on top of this.
Beat together sour cream, eggs, sugar and
cinnamon. Pour over top of the apples,
spreading to cover.
Sprinkle with the 1 cup crumbs.
Bake for 30 - 45 minutes, until the apples
are done and the top is golden.
Refrigerate any leftovers.Recipe
